The successes of the Yugoslav school of accordion playing are obvious.

It is confirmed by numerous triumphs on the most prestigious international contests,

participation in all of the important international festivals, conferences etc.

Zoran Vujovic is one of those who rightfully present Yugoslav school of interpretation,

by the wide range programme, recorded on the compact disc.

The program can be conditionally divided into four segments.

The first is presented by the music of the old maestros, which is a common part of the programme of accordion players.

Zoran Vujovic feels and understands that style.

The pureness of the articulation, rhythmical precision, sophisticated sense of measure, dynamic flexibility,

suitability of the expression of colour - all of those are fully shown in performances of the works by D. Scarlatti, J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart.

The second segment is consisted of the works of romantic classical music - Mussorgsky, Lequona, Rodrigo.

Here, Zoran Vujovic has shown universality, making the impression by the depth of thought, the force and the temperament of expression.

Convincingly and shiny the interpreter played the popular and jazz compositions by Monty, Ellington, Vlasov, his own compositions.

Ease, the refined sense of rhythm, emotional sincerity - they are all present in the works that belong to the third segment.

In the concluding part, the Yugoslav folk melodies were played.

Here, Zoran Vujovic demonstrates brilliant technique, spontaneity, the palette of tones, getting to the essence of Yugoslav folklore.

Compact disc by Zoran Vujovic is a fine present to all admirers of instrumental music.
